Collège Champittet in Nyon provides a caring and nurturing environment for approximately 200 children up to 12 years old. Our challenge is to maintain a high level of results in class, whilst allowing each child to develop his or her abilities and to flourish day after day in a welcoming, harmonious and creative environment.
The introduction of new technologies, the French-English bilingualism, the quality and motivation of our teaching staff, the inheritance of values such as the respect for others, tolerance and the sense of effort, remain strengths which favour the development of core skills needed for the 21st century.
Collège Champittet’s Nyon campus has been designed to be a modern and welcoming school environment.
Your child’s lessons take place in bright and spacious classrooms and a computer room, equipped with modern learning devices. As part of an initiative launched in 2012, our Primary students now have access to iPads for team work, opening up a world of information and discovery.
Lunchtime is a time to settle down with friends and classmates in a comfortable dining room. Meals are prepared with a focus on health and nutrition, and staff are on hand to supervise younger children and teach them the importance of good table manners.
Recreation is also important. Your child will have the opportunity to play on our outdoor playground, on the junior football pitch, or in the indoor recreation room.
