The International School of Schaffhausen offers a high-quality international education for students of all ages, including a childcare centre.
We are an authorized IB World School offering all three IB programmes, the Diploma Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Primary Years Programme. We offer a boarding programme for students aged 16-18, as part of our Junior College.
ISSH was founded in 1999 with the vision to give young people more than a traditional education. The IB programmes combine newest approaches to learning and teaching with an international perspective on curriculum content. A personal approach, international standards and a modern infrastructure in a historic school building — this is what makes ISSH unique. Not only do we develop our students’ intellect, we also cater for their social, emotional and personal development.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff will keep your child motivated, curious and eager to learn according to our school motto: each mind has its own method.
