About International Owls Academy at Temple University
Are you a high school student interested in attending university in the U.S.?
Join us from July 19 to August 2, 2025 for a two-week, on-campus experience at Temple University!
U.S News & World Report 2025 ranked Temple University a top 100 best national university and top 50 public school. Temple is also a designated R1 research institution. Temple welcomes 35,000 students from across the world represented by 115+ countries.
Temple is located in the heart of Philadelphia – the birthplace of America. Philadelphia is home to many prestigious universities and is known for its cultural diversity and affordable cost of living.
Academic Workshops:
Each morning, students will participate in an academic pre-college workshop with U.S. high school students in one of the following areas:
- Health & Medicine
- Business
- World Affairs
- The Arts
- Sustainability
College & Career Readiness Workshops:
Each afternoon, students will participate in college & career readiness workshops with fellow international students on topics such as:
- Common App 101
- Writing personal statements
- Academic advising
- Financing your studies
- Career networking
- & more!
Local & Regional Exploration:
In the International Owls Academy, students will also:
- Explore cultural, artistic, historical landmarks & museums in Philadelphia
- Tour several university campuses
- Visit New York City
- Visit Ocean City Beach
- Participate in weekly Culture Shares!
Dates & Prices
Program Dates: July 19 – August 2, 2025*
*Shuttles provided to & from PHL International Airport to Temple University’s Main Campus from 8:00am-8:00pm EST
Application Deadline: May 30, 2025
Program Fee: $3,965 USD*
*Price includes tuition, on-campus housing, meals, ground transportation & activity fees
Scholarships: Limited $500 scholarships available
English Language Proficiency
We recommend that students have the equivalent to a B2 on the CEFR scale.
